Designing for All, It's All in the Design

We’re not telling you it’s going to be easy; we’re telling you it’s going to be worth it. Making digital content accessible for all so learners can access all content and activities and all learners can easily navigate and interact with all course components is our job. This session will explore the QM Standard 8 and give participants quick tips & examples to help meet the guidelines. We will discuss how to design digital content for all learners and how to analyze content for accessibility bases on our statewide implementation of over 20,000 enrollments & participation in a Virtual Learning Task Force. Infographics and accessibility tools will be shared using resources such as WebAim, screen readers, etc. Participants will be motivated to take a closer look at their own digital content. We will crowdsource resources on a collaborative document so participants can take back & use the next day.
