Session Schedule by Concentration: Measuring the Impact: Monday Nov. 2nd 2:30 PM- 2:55 PM

Description:The NMSU statewide (university system) subscription consists of four colleges. All share a common need to measure the impact that Quality Matters has had on each college as well as collectively as a system. In this session, each college will describe the lens it is using to measure the impact of Quality Matters. As a system, the presenters will also discuss the process followed that has led to current decisions about how impact at the system level is measured. Talking points will begin with a look at current research, research goals, constraints, methods, and future direction.

Learning Objectives: a) Identify common constraints impacting research approaches. b) Summarize the process required for integrating research findings into a systemic strategy.c) Discuss various research approaches to understand the impact of QM on online courses (Q&A).
