When ChatGPT burst onto the scene a few years ago, it was clear it would change how people worked. In this session, we will follow ACCESS Virtual Learning’s journey in implementing AI in course development from the perspective of a leader who is an AI novice, including:
• Creating position statements, usage guidelines, citation formats, and acknowledgment forms
• Balancing diverse institutional AI policies and needs
• Building support for AI use in stakeholders
• Collaborating on ethical practices in AI
• Coaching users to engineer better prompts
• Developing and disseminating best practices
