Increased online course enrollment has led to the incorporation of academic coaches as members of an instructional support team. This presentation will disseminate research findings related to this team approach. The session will conclude with group discussions using result-based case studies.

Participants from small or large institutions will be emboldened to overcome learner disengagement by effectively transforming learners into peer-instructors, in productive ways that leads to greater outcomes for all learners.

By designing courses with the Inclusive Pedagogy (IP) framework, we can create courses that support and provide equity for all learners and fulfill QM standards. Through three short activities, participants will see the "research in action" and how the IP framework impacts student success.

Instructional Designers (IDs) can positively impact online education through research. Yet few ID job descriptions include research activities. In this panel session, IDs and supervisors at a large state university will offer pathways for IDs to be collaborative innovators advancing research.

Navigating a course is like planning a road trip. Learners find their way while being aware of potential potholes, toll roads, and speed traps. Learn how thoughtful assessment planning at a public community college lead to customized CBE courses that help learners reach their learning destination.

To remain competitive and innovative, Collin College moved courses from in-person to online delivery and opened our virtual campus, iCollin. Many of the courses were never taught online, and we wanted to ensure the same quality and rigor for students. We utilized the MyCR system in QM to and created a custom rubric to provide a solid and measurable review process.

In this conversation, we will review this history of synchronous online learning and discuss the transition our faculty and students have made to this modality. We will also discuss the barriers and solutions to these barriers that both students and faculty are facing, as well as their successes.
