Relational Teaching and Learning
This workshop introduces participants to the concept of relational pedagogy, described as “an educational approach that places strong emphasis on building positive and meaningful relationships between educators and students.” Strategies for building positive relationships, fostering dialogue between learners and instructors, and co-creating the teaching and learning experience will be discussed.
In this self-paced workshop, participants have the flexibility to learn at their own pace, with no set schedule or deadlines, allowing them to complete the course at a time that best fits their personal and professional commitments. With an "open" window for access, learners can engage with the content as soon as they’re ready, revisit materials as needed, and take the time necessary to fully absorb and apply the concepts. This format fosters a personalized learning experience and supports sustained reflection and practice, making it ideal for balancing multiple responsibilities.
