This workshop concentrates on personalizing instruction based on learner needs and data-driven insights. It covers creating learner profiles, implementing assistive technologies, monitoring student progress, and adapting instruction based on ongoing assessment. The content emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and using various data sources to inform instructional decisions.

This workshop aligns with NSQ Standard D: Learner-Centered Instruction.

Learning Objectives
  1. Design comprehensive learner profiles that include academic, social, and technological needs to guide instructional decisions.
  2. Analyze multiple sources of learner data to create targeted interventions and support strategies, including appropriate assistive technologies.

Ability to read and write standard business English.

Special Notes

Workshops open monthly on the first Wednesday and close after three weeks. The work is self-paced with a portfolio assignment submitted to a facilitator upon completion (prior to workshop closure).
