Voice and Choice
In this workshop, participants will explore the concepts of learner agency, equitable grading practices, and voice and choice in assessments through a variety of resources and reflective activities. By the end of the workshop, participants will acquire actionable strategies for creating a more inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
In this self-paced workshop, participants will have the flexibility to learn at their own pace, with no set schedule or deadlines, allowing them to complete the course at a time that best fits their personal and professional commitments. With an "open" window for access, learners can engage with the content as soon as they’re ready, revisit materials as needed, and take the time necessary to fully absorb and apply the concepts. This design not only fosters a more personalized learning experience but also supports sustained reflection and practice, making it ideal for those balancing multiple responsibilities.
