The Winter Retreat 2027 brings together educators who are ready to build on the momentum of our Summer Camp AI pathway experience. Designed as the next step in a year-long professional learning journey, this immersive retreat helps participants move beyond AI exploration and into purposeful implementation.
Through hands-on workshops, collaborative activities, and practical design experiences, participants will deepen their understanding of how artificial intelligence can enhance teaching, learning, assessment, and learner support. The retreat focuses on creating meaningful, learner-centered experiences while maintaining academic quality, accessibility, equity, and human-centered decision-making.
Whether you are refining personalized learning strategies or exploring transformative AI-enabled practices, the Winter Retreat provides the tools, guidance, and community needed to move ideas into action.

Move beyond one-size-fits-all instruction by learning how to use AI to create more responsive, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences. Participants explore practical strategies for personalizing content, scaffolding complex concepts, and supporting diverse learner needs while maintaining equity, accessibility, and human-centered decision-making. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to design adaptive learning pathways, create multiple entry points for learners, and leverage AI to provide meaningful support that helps every learner succeed.
Core 4: Transformative Practices
Credential: AI-Enabled Transformative Practice
Transform your teaching, course design, and professional workflows through strategic AI integration. This advanced workshop focuses on redesigning learning experiences, developing AI-supported assessment practices, streamlining recurring tasks, and creating sustainable approaches to AI-enhanced education. Participants learn to balance innovation with accountability, ensuring that human expertise remains at the center of every decision. The result is a practical framework for leading instructional transformation while maintaining quality, integrity, and learner-focused outcomes.
Both workshops are 100% online and self-paced within cohort dates, with structured peer interaction.
