Standard 1: Design That Welcomes Your Students

This workshop is focused on providing online and hybrid course designers and instructors with an opportunity to explore design features that promote Quality Matter's General Standard 1: The overall design of the course is made clear to the student at the beginning of the course. Participants will practice creating clear introductory and orientation guides within online and hybrid course design and navigation. It is estimated that this online workshop will require approximately six to ten hours over a ten-day period.

Audience: New and experienced online faculty; instructional designers

The Standard 1 workshop is offered online and is 2 weeks in length. It is estimated that this online workshop will require approximately six to ten hours over a ten-day period. Fees are $150 for QM Subscribers and $200 for Non-Subscribers.
