Peer Reviewer Certification Module

The Peer Reviewer Certification Module is for participants who want or need to become QM Certified Peer Reviewers.

Online instructors who meet the following criteria will be eligible to apply for Peer Reviewer Certification upon successful completion of this module:

1. Completion of an online or F2F session of the Applying the QM Rubric workshop.
2. Current online teaching experience--must have taught online within the last 18 months.
3. Commitment: This is a self-nomination process.

Upon completion of this module you will be able to:

• Describe the critical materials, processes, and administrative elements of the QM project.
• Describe the Peer Course Review process and your role in it.
• Write useful recommendations for course improvement.
• Demonstrate your understanding of how to apply the rubric in a review situation.
• Apply to serve on a Quality Matters Course Review team.
  

Module activities include 3 objective assessments and 3 written assessments that will determine your preparedness to serve on a QM peer review team.

There is no additional fee for this module if you have participated in an online or F2F Applying the QM Rubric workshop delivered by Quality Matters at your institution. If you participated in an independent Applying the QM Rubric workshop, a $25 charge will apply.
